PHL is the official airport code for Philadelphia International Airport. There are three airports in Philadelphia and PHL is the major and the busiest one.

PHL is located less than 16-minute drive from Downtown Philadelphia. The airport has three terminals (A, B, C) and seven concourses (D/E, F, G).

PHL airport parking is available in all three parking garages (A, B, C) for both long term parking and for short term as well. If you are flying from PHL, use off site parking, because it is much cheaper. Daily rates start from $7.50.

Be sure to allow yourself extra time to navigate the airport and find your gate. Parking at PHL can also be difficult. So it is advisable to either take public transportation or arrive early to find a spot.

PHL airport offers travelers several parking options. On the main website PHL parking offers a variety of Ground Level and Upper Levels Garage Parking. Short term parking rates starts from $5 an hour.

All garage parking options are located directly at terminals. For long term parking Philadelphia airport offers travellers Garage (Upper Levels) Parking, which can be expensive, if travelers choose to leave their car there for a while. It is recommended by the airport itself to look for other off-site options when it comes to long term parking.  

Philadelphia airport also offers free charging stations for electric cars. There is also a bicycle rack at the airport.

Philadelphia Airport Long Term Parking

Long term Economy Parking at PHL Airport has been closed since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now there is a limited capacity.

PHL Airport gives the option to park cars for 96 hours or more into Garage (Upper Levels) for $20 and Ground Level Parking for $48 per 24 hours.

If you are planning a long trip from Philadelphia International Airport and don't want to spend too much, you will have to use off-site parking. Then you will be able to find parking at the nearest hotel with shuttle buses to the terminals. Rates start from $7.50 per day.

Philadelphia Airport Short Term Parking

If you need short term parking, you'll have a much easier time getting it than long term parking. Philadelphia Airport provides prices for short term parking for 30 minutes up to 1, 2, 3 and 4 hours. Daily rates for Ground Level start at $4 for 30 minutes and $22 for 4 hours.

Free parking is possible at the Cell Phone Lot, which is located in a larger walking distance. Also you can't leave your car unattended. So this options makes sense, if you driving by to pick up friends or family.
