IAH Parking

George Bush International Airport is one of the top 5 airports in the United States. It has the official airport code IAH. The airport is about 20 miles from Downtown, which is a 28 minute drive. IAH airport has five runways and covers a total area of 10,000 acres.

There are two main airports in Houston, Texas:

George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)
William P. Hobby Airport (HOU)
They differ in that (HOU) is much smaller than (IAH) and is closer to the city, and the airport (IAH) is the main and provides flights to almost all continents.

George Bush International Airport offers several options for hourly and daily parking. There are three major options: Valet parking, Terminal parking and Economy Parking.

 
IAH Parking Rates

IAH airport offers an array of short and long term rates to suit travelers needs. Parking directly at Terminals A & B will cost $24 per day, Terminals C, D & E have a daily rate of $26.

Before arriving at the airport, check the availability of parking spaces because those terminal lots are often booked out. The airport offers Economy Parking. At the so called "ecopark" covered parking can be booked for $8.31/day plus tax or uncovered for $6.47/day plus tax. Also the new "ecopark2" recently opened covered daily rates from $7.39. For Economy lots Bush airport offeres shuttle service. Short term parking rates start from $1 for 10 min. and $5 for an hour with tax. If you are looking for cheap IAH parking the best choice would be off-site parking which can be from $5-6 per day with free shuttle services.

Airport provided free chargers for electric car. You can find them in the terminal parking area and in the ecopark.

IAH Long Term Parking

There are three main options for IAH long term parking at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Terminal Parking

Terminal C, D & E 3400 N. Terminal Road with a daily rate for $26 / day.
2. Valet Parking

Terminal C, D & E 3400 N. Terminal Road with a daily rate for $30 / day.
3. Economy Parking

ecopark covered 16152 John F. Kennedy Blvd with a daily rate for $8.31 / day plus tax.
ecopark uncovered 16152 John F. Kennedy Blvd with a daily rate for $6.47 / day plus tax.
ecopark2 covered 5021 Will Clayton Parkway with a daily rate for $7.39 / day plus tax.
Economy Parking provides shuttle service and there also is a frequent parking program (Parking Plus). The program allows you to collect miles and use points for free parking.

Off-Site Parking with Parkobility is the most economical option with daily rates starting from $3. Shuttle services are included.

IAH Short Term Parking

IAH offers several short term parking options. Travelers can park at George Bush International Airport at any terminal garage. Rates start from $5 per hour. If you want to stay longer you will pay $6 for 2 hours and $10 for 5 hours.
