Grand Rapids Airport Parking - Gerald R. Ford International Airport

The commercial airport is in Cascade Township. The name Gerald R. Ford was changed in December 1999 after the 40th Vice President and 38th President. The airport is the second-largest commercial airport in Michigan. It is connected by I-196 E and I-96 to Downtown Grand Rapids, which you can reach in about 20 minutes.

GRR Parking Rates

If you want to park for a short term period then parking near the terminal would be a good option for you. For longer stays there are 2 lots and one garage to choose from. This will be cheaper than the option which is closer to the terminal. There is also a Cell Phone Lot where you can park your car for free. You cannot leave your car unattended in this lot. Long Term Parking GRR

When you plan your trip you save a lot of time finding the right spot with the right price option. There are 4 options you can choose from. These are 1 garage, North & East Parking Lot and Economy Parking. Only the garage offers covered long term parking facilities and is close to the terminal. The North & East parking Lots are at a walking distance (5-10 minutes) to the terminal. The Economy Lot is further, but there is a shuttle service which you can use to reach your terminal smoothly. *At the time parking is only available at Garage and North Lot (Official). GRR Short Term Parking

Short term parking can be found on the first level of the covered parking garage. This is right next to the airport terminal building. If you are coming to pick up a friend, you might need to stay for a couple of hours. In this case this lot is the option for you. There is also a free Lot available, where you do not have to pay. The only condition is: you cannot leave your car unattended. It has limited spacing capacity. Thus first come first served policy is applied there.
